The Story
A businessman named Samuel Drumheller bought the local land from Thomas Greentree in 1910, then sold it to the Railways to develop a townsite. When deciding who would name the town, the two men flipped a coin. Whether by chance or fate, Drumheller won, and the new little town had a name.
