THE STORY
In 1998, geologist J. B. Tyrrell stumbled upon the skull of a 70-million-year old Albertosaurus while looking for coal seams along the Red Deer Rover. Thanks to its rich collection of fossil sites, Drumheller has since earned its rightful title as the dinosaur capital of the world.
